StratosHedge is an informational and educational research tool. Nothing on this platform — including gamma exposure (GEX) levels, dealer-positioning estimates, charts, alerts, analytics, replay sessions, the platform guide, or any other content — constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or derivative.
StratosHedge is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary, and is not registered with the SEC, FINRA, or any other regulatory body. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Before acting on anything you see here, consider consulting a licensed financial professional who understands your individual circumstances.
Market Data & Model Estimates
Market data shown on the platform comes from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data, and you should verify any figure against your broker before relying on it.
Exposure metrics (GEX, DEX, VEX, TEX), gamma walls, the gamma flip, and similar values are model-derived estimates built from publicly available option open interest and Greeks under simplifying assumptions about dealer positioning. Actual dealer positioning is not publicly knowable, and these estimates can be wrong — in level, in sign, and in implication. Open interest is published once daily by exchanges, so intraday levels reflect stale positioning by construction.
Risk Disclosure
Trading stocks and especially options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Options can expire worthless; short positions and leveraged products can lose more than the amount invested. Past performance — including anything observed in the Replay view or historical analytics — does not guarantee or even suggest future results. Hypothetical or replayed scenarios do not account for slippage, liquidity, fees, or your actual execution.
Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. You alone bear the outcomes of trades you place, regardless of what any tool on this platform displayed at the time.
Data We Collect
To operate the platform, we store the following per-account data:
- Your account email address and authentication session.
- App data you create: watchlists, chart and display settings, dashboard layouts, alert rules and alert history, manually entered positions, journal entries, and recent symbols.
- If you enable push notifications: the anonymous push-subscription endpoint your browser issues (no device contents are accessible through it).
- If you link a brokerage: account labels, masked account numbers, and your holdings (symbols, quantities, cost basis, cash balance) as reported through SnapTrade, refreshed periodically. Access is read-only.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Brokerage credentials. When you link an account you authenticate directly with your broker through SnapTrade's portal — your username and password never touch StratosHedge servers.
- Trading authority. Brokerage connections are read-only; the platform cannot place, modify, or cancel orders in your accounts.
- Government identifiers (Social Security numbers, tax IDs) and payment card numbers.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your portfolio data with other users — every user's data is isolated to their own account.
Removing Your Data
- Unlinking a brokerage account deletes its synced positions from the platform immediately; disconnecting removes all linked brokerages and their data.
- Manually entered positions, journal entries, alerts, and watchlist items can be deleted in-app at any time.
- To delete your account and all associated data entirely, contact support at the email below.
Subscriptions & Billing
StratosHedge is currently invite-only and does not charge for access. The terms below take effect if and when paid subscriptions launch, and are published now for transparency.
- No refunds. All subscription payments are final. Partial billing periods, unused time, and dissatisfaction with market outcomes are not grounds for refunds, except where required by law.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. When you cancel, you keep full access until the period you already paid for ends; you are not charged again after that. No prorated refunds are issued for the remainder of the period.
- Prices and plan features may change with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
- Payment processing will be handled by a third-party processor; StratosHedge will not store card numbers.
No Warranty & Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StratosHedge and its operator are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to These Policies
These policies may be updated as the platform evolves (for example, when subscriptions launch). The effective date above reflects the latest revision; continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes to billing terms will be announced before they apply.
