Terms of Use
StratosHedge provides an open workspace for investors and traders to research market information. These terms cover use of our website, accounts, and research tools. Paid features depend on your membership and available data coverage.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account. Keep your sign-in information secure and provide accurate account details. Do not misuse another person’s account, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, redistribute licensed market data without permission, or use the platform unlawfully. We may restrict access to address misuse or security risks, subject to applicable law and your billing rights.
You retain rights to research notes and other content you submit. You authorize us to store and process that content to provide the service. An open workspace does not make your account information or portfolio visible to other members.
Not Financial Advice
Charts, dealer gamma positioning, dark pool levels, gamma flows, the GEX Matrix, 3D Surface, alerts, valuation scenarios, portfolio analytics, replay, and educational content are provided for information and research. They are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or recommendations to buy, sell, or hold a security or derivative.
StratosHedge does not provide personalized investment advice, act as your broker or fiduciary, or execute trades. Your circumstances, objectives, and risk tolerance remain your responsibility. Consider qualified professional advice before making an investment decision.
Market Data & Model Estimates
Third-party market data may be delayed, incomplete, corrected, or unavailable. Free charts, watchlists, and Market Map use a 15-minute delay. Paid feeds remain subject to provider, exchange, and connection limitations. Check timestamps and verify actionable prices with your broker.
Dealer exposure metrics (including GEX, DEX, VEX, and TEX), gamma walls, the gamma flip, and gamma-flow estimates rely on models, options data, and assumptions. They do not establish actual dealer inventories or hedging activity. Open interest generally reflects a prior reporting period, and estimates can be wrong in magnitude, direction, or interpretation.
Dark pool levels summarize reported off-exchange activity; they do not identify every participant, reveal intent, or guarantee support or resistance. Options-flow classifications can be imperfect and may reflect hedges or multi-leg strategies. Matrix and Surface visualizations describe estimates, not predicted price paths.
Website examples are labeled illustrative sample data and are not live trading signals or reported company results. Historical and replay coverage is limited to available records. Data licenses and your plan may restrict access, storage, or redistribution.
Risk Disclosure
Stocks and other investments can lose some or all of their value. Options involve substantial risk and are not suitable for every investor. Buyers can lose the entire premium; leveraged and certain short strategies can lose more than the initial investment. Uncovered calls can expose the seller to potentially unlimited losses.
Past performance does not predict future results. Illustrations, models, valuations, and replayed scenarios may omit liquidity constraints, fees, slippage, and actual execution conditions. Alerts can be delayed or missed and should not be your only risk control. Do not rely on a single metric when making a decision.
Privacy Policy & Notice at Collection
This notice explains the personal information used to provide StratosHedge, including information collected when you visit, register, subscribe, contact support, or enable optional features. The categories below describe the service’s collection and business uses; individual records depend on the features you use.
- Account identifiers: email address, account ID, authentication and session information, and profile details you provide. Used to create and secure your account and communicate about the service. Sources include you and our authentication provider.
- Workspace information: watchlists, recent symbols, chart settings, layouts, alert rules and history, positions, and journal entries. Used to save, synchronize, and display your research. Sources include you and your use of the tools.
- Subscription and transaction records: plan, customer and subscription identifiers, invoices, payment status, and billing or tax details provided during checkout. Used for payments, account access, tax, accounting, and dispute handling. Sources include you and our payment processor.
- Device and activity information: IP address, browser information, request and error logs, and security events processed when you connect. Used to deliver pages, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and protect accounts. Sources include your browser and hosting services.
- Optional brokerage information: connection identifiers, account labels, masked account numbers, holdings, balances, and cost basis received through SnapTrade when you link a broker. Used for read-only portfolio analysis and synchronization. Financial-account information can be sensitive personal information under California law.
- Optional notifications: browser push endpoint, subscription keys, and delivery information associated with your account. Used to send alerts you enable. These identifiers are not anonymous, and do not grant access to the contents of your device.
- Support communications: your contact details and information you include in a request. Used to answer questions, investigate problems, and process privacy or accessibility requests.
Retention depends on the purpose of each category: account and workspace records support your account until removed or no longer needed; brokerage and push records support enabled connections; transaction records support accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and disputes; technical logs support security and troubleshooting; support records document the request and its resolution. Limited records may be retained for legal obligations or claims. See retention and deletion for details.
How Information Is Disclosed
Information is disclosed to providers as needed for authentication and storage, hosting and security, subscription processing, brokerage connections, and notification delivery. These include Supabase for account services, Stripe for payments, and SnapTrade when you choose to connect a broker. Each receives the information needed for its role; providers may also process information under their own notices when you use their services directly.
We may disclose relevant records to comply with valid legal process, protect users and the service, resolve disputes, or carry out a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections. We do not display your portfolio or account records to other members.
Data We Do Not Collect
Brokerage sign-in takes place through the connection provider and broker. StratosHedge does not receive your brokerage password and does not request trading authority. Linked accounts are used for read-only research.
We do not collect full payment-card numbers in the StratosHedge application; payment details are entered with the payment processor. Do not send passwords, full financial-account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other government identifiers to support. A payment provider may separately request billing or tax information under its own notice.
Cookies, Browser Storage & Privacy Choices
The site and application use browser storage for sign-in sessions, preferences, and workspace state. “Remember me” keeps your session in persistent browser storage; turning it off uses session storage. Clearing storage or blocking it may sign you out or reset saved preferences. Browser settings also let you revoke push permission.
Our website does not use advertising pixels or cross-site advertising trackers. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. This applies to the categories described above.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): a GPC signal expresses a request to opt out of sale or sharing. Our no-sale and no-sharing practice applies whether or not your browser sends that signal, so no account or extra action is required. Do Not Track (DNT): the site does not change its behavior in response to the older DNT signal; the same tracking practices apply.
When you follow a link to an independent website or use a broker or payment provider directly, that service may collect activity under its own policy. Contact us through Your Privacy Choices if you have questions or want to exercise a privacy right.
Your Privacy Choices & California Rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing support@stratoshedge.com. You do not need to create an account to submit a request. Tell us which right you want to exercise and the email associated with the information.
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies, California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of information collected about them, sources, purposes, and recipient categories; obtain a portable copy where applicable; correct inaccurate information; and request deletion subject to legal exceptions. Applicable rights also include opting out of sale or sharing, limiting qualifying uses of sensitive information, and receiving equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
For covered requests to know, correct, or delete, we confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If an allowed extension is needed, we explain why within the original period; the total response period is no more than 90 calendar days. Requests to opt out or limit qualifying uses do not require identity verification and, when applicable, are processed as soon as feasible within 15 business days.
For requests involving account records, we verify identity using information proportionate to the request and already associated with the account. Do not send a password or government ID. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of permission; we may ask you to confirm the authorization or identity as permitted by law. We explain any denial or exception. You may ask us to reconsider and may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or California Attorney General.
Retention & Security
We retain personal information only as needed for the disclosed purposes, including providing an active account, honoring your requests, preventing fraud, satisfying accounting or legal obligations, and resolving disputes. The relevant period depends on the record, account status, outstanding request, and legal requirement; we do not promise one deletion deadline for all records.
Deleted information may persist in restricted backups until those backups are replaced under the applicable retention cycle. A legal requirement or hold may require limited retention. We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information, but no website, storage system, or transmission method is risk-free. If a security incident requires notice, we will notify affected people as required by applicable law.
Removing Your Data
- Remove watchlist items, alerts, manual positions, and journal entries using the available in-app controls.
- Unlink a brokerage to remove its synced data from your active workspace, or disconnect brokerage access to remove linked connections. Provider records and backups may follow different retention cycles.
- Revoke push permission in your browser to stop browser notifications.
- To request account deletion, a data copy, or correction of information you cannot change in the app, email support@stratoshedge.com. We will explain any information that must be retained. Deleting browser storage does not delete server records.
Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate requests. To stop future billing, use the cancellation controls or include cancellation in your support request.
Children’s Privacy
Accounts are intended for adults age 18 and older. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact support@stratoshedge.com so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
Subscriptions & Billing
Free membership costs $0 and requires no payment card. Retail costs $79.99 per month and Advance costs $149.99 per month in USD, plus applicable tax. A paid subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Creating a Free account does not authorize a paid subscription.
Before paying: review the price, billing interval, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions presented with the offer. Recurring charges require your express affirmative consent. Keep the subscription acknowledgment and billing records for reference.
Cancel online: sign in to Account Settings & Billing, select “Cancel subscription renewal,” and confirm. Cancellation stops future renewals when confirmed; paid access continues through the period already paid for. You can also use “Manage billing” for the billing portal. If you cannot sign in or complete cancellation, email support@stratoshedge.com for help. You do not need to call or accept another offer to cancel online.
Refunds and plan changes: payments are generally non-refundable for unused time or partial periods, except where law requires a refund or another remedy, including for unauthorized or erroneous charges. Upgrades apply after the prorated payment succeeds; downgrades apply at renewal. Failed payments do not extend the paid period; access then returns to Free unless complimentary access applies.
Renewal notices and price changes: applicable California law requires a retainable acknowledgment, annual reminders for covered continuous service, and notice with cancellation instructions before material changes. Fee-change notices must be delivered 7–30 days before the change takes effect. Longer initial terms and qualifying trials, if offered, have additional advance-notice requirements. Changes do not authorize charges without the consent required by law. Contact support if a notice is missing or a charge appears incorrect.
Accessibility
We want investors and traders with disabilities to be able to explore StratosHedge, understand its tools, and manage their accounts. Our accessibility work is guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and applicable nondiscrimination and effective-communication obligations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act.
- Use “Skip to content” to bypass the header. Tab and Shift+Tab move between controls, and visible focus indicators show your position.
- Use Enter or Space for buttons and disclosures. Escape closes the site navigation and returns focus to its trigger. Feature tabs support arrow keys, Home, and End.
- Use browser zoom, text enlargement, high-contrast settings, or your operating system’s reduced-motion preference. The page adapts to narrow screens.
- Illustrative charts include text descriptions and numerical context. Examples use labels and signed values so that color is not the only source of meaning.
Accessibility is ongoing. Complex interactive charts, the authenticated workspace, and third-party checkout or brokerage screens may have limitations and have not all been independently evaluated. This statement is not a certification of full WCAG conformance.
For help, an alternative format, or to report a barrier, email support@stratoshedge.com. Include the page or task, what prevented access, and your preferred way to receive help. Sharing browser or assistive-technology details is optional; no medical information is needed.
Warranties & Your Legal Rights
To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, accurate data, fitness for a particular purpose, or investment results. To that same extent, StratosHedge is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including trading losses or lost profits arising from use of the service.
These terms do not exclude liability or waive remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including protections for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, statutory privacy rights, accessibility rights, or nonwaivable consumer rights under California or federal law. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to These Policies
The effective date identifies the latest revision. We post updates here and provide notice of material changes through the service or account email as appropriate. Where law requires notice or affirmative consent before a new use of information or a billing change, we provide that notice or obtain that consent. Continued use alone does not replace legally required consent. Privacy disclosures are reviewed at least annually and when practices materially change.
Contact
For account, billing, privacy, or accessibility requests, contact StratosHedge at support@stratoshedge.com. Tell us the type of request so we can route it appropriately. Do not include passwords or full payment or financial-account numbers.
